Cropped from Green Mount Cemetery (Waynesburg, Pennsylvania) Deed No. 37, for purchase of Section D, Lot 20 east half. Sold on 31 July 1878 to Simon Rinehart, Jr. as authorized by Green Mount Cemetery Board President James Inghram and Secretary R. F. Downey. Deed includes Rules And Regulations section under which item number IX defines the incorporation of the cemetery.

Wreaths Across America ceremonies were held today at the VFW Post 4793 followed by the laying of the wreaths by veterans and volunteers in Green Mount Cemetery. This is a beautiful tribute to our local heroes. Many thanks to Greene County Composite Squadron 606, Civil Air Patrol, the Greene County Salute to Veterans Committee, our local veterans, and all who made the event possible.
