Today, during our first virtual Annie Cooper Annual Missionary Day Rev. Ivy Berry (Pastor, Bethel AMEC Downington) preached, praised and poured her spirit into the word. From the book of Matthew 9: 35-38 her message was entitled Called In Times Like These. In a time when the harvest is plentiful, the workers are few and Missionaries need to be committed to continue serving in times like these. We all have planted seeds with gifts & talents to tell GOD, look no further, I’...m here GOD! As Christians we’re called to (1) Action: Get out of our comfort zones and go physically or virtually...it’s time to move forward. (2) Witness: We have an assignment to fulfill and its to bring people to Calvary, 80% of people in church are brought by laymen. Sheep bring sheep and we have work to do. (3) Love : we’re called to spread compassion not misery and people need to hear, see & feel the love of GOD through his vessels. We got to be about our fathers business and we have an obligation to tell GOD look no further.....I’m here LORD! With over 30 people in attendance it was a powerful virtual service that placed the Missionaries of the Mighty Mainline on a mission to be willing participant and serve HIM. #IamAME #WeAreAME See more
