Here are the prayers requests from Sunday, January 24th. There were so many joys that I had to put them on a separate sheet. Let us rejoice in that.
Expressions of sympathy can be sent to Pam's daughter, Madalynn Locke, 320 Shady Lane, Johnstown, PA 15905 Pamela Ann (Tomkowski) Locke May 25, 1956 ~ January 15, 2021 (age 64)... LOCKE- Pamela Ann, 64, Johnstown, died January 15th, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 25th, 1956 Johnstown, daughter of the late Noami (Adams) and Henry P. Tomkowski. Preceded in death by nephew Scott Kniss. Survived by daughter Madalynn Locke and son-in-Law Andrew Crichton, Johnstown; sisters Patricia Todorich, South Portland, ME.; Rosalia Evans, Mclean, VA.; Valerie Casses, Johnstown; Deborah Kniss, Johnstown; Gisele Fenimore, Woodbridge, VA. Also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, and life-long friend and former husband, Ralph A. Locke, Johnstown. Pamela was a dedicated home health care aide for many members of the community through Rose Personal Care. She had a huge heart and loved helping others. Pam had an incredible sense of humor, quick wit, and a larger-than-life personality that could light up a room and leave everyone in tears of laughter. She was an amazing mother and best friend. An avid reader, she loved books and spending Sunday’s with her daughter playing Scrabble. She was a kind and generous friend to all who knew her. Pamela will be sadly missed by her furry companions Blake and Cooper. In Lieu of flowers please send donations to Cambria County Humane Society in memory of Pamela Ann Locke. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. Online condolences may be posted at www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
Here is the prayer list from Worship on Sunday, January 17th.
Today the Johnstown Chapter of the NAACP hosted a Martin Luther King Celebration via Zoom. Natalie was one of the planners. Pastors Sung and Carol took part in the service. May we learn to work together, pray together and serve together. Lord make it so!
