We are saddened to share the passing of Marge Lesmeister, 94, an Ehrenmitglied of the GTV Almrausch. We are keeping her family in our thoughts and prayers. Below are two of our favorite photos from our early years as a club. In the first photo from 1938, Marge is seated in the front row to the left. In the second photo from 1937, she is also on the left. Ruhe in Frieden.

Today we remember and honor Walt Werner, an Ehrenmitglied of our Verein who recently passed. Walt was a wonderful accordionist and we were very fortunate to have him play for us for many years. We continue to keep the Werner family in our thoughts and prayers.

A special shoutout and thanks to Frankford Hall for hosting not one but three weekends of #PHLOktoberfest. 2020 has been anything but normal, but we’re so grateful to have been a part of the socially distanced fun, keeping alive a years long tradition. 2020 marks the 10th Oktoberfest season we’ve celebrated at Frankford Hall! Just hanging around waiting for the next fest... This Saturday we had planned to celebrate our annual Oktoberfest.
