Today is the day!! MilkShake Factory Spirit Night from 5pm-10pm!! Come support Haine PTO!

March Madness was back this year, both on the courts and at Haine Elementary. Third grade teachers at Haine held their fourth annual March Madness Tournament of... Books. They started with 16 books that are read daily and vote until they have a winner. Our 2021 books ranged from diverse, inclusive and multicultural; to humorous, lessons in kindness and empathy and important historical pairings, stated teacher Rachel Johnson. Our 2021 Champion was ‘Sergeant Reckless’ -- for the third year in a row! At the beginning of the tournament, each student completed their own individual bracket. The students who chose the most correct books were named the winners and won their own copy of Sergeant Reckless. This year’s winners included (L-R): Carmella Vtipil, Sofia Sicilia, Cameron Cramer, Gary Grabill, CJ Evers, Morgan Shefcheck and Moorthy Maharajan. #SVIntheClassroom #SV2021
