RANGE CLOSURE REMINDER: Rifle and pistol ranges are closed today during the ATA Trap Shoot between 10:00 am to approximately 5:00 pm.

Although COVID-19 has limited in-person hunter-trapper education opportunities this year, the course is always available online. The course is a requirement for... all first-time hunters and trappers in order to buy a license in the Commonwealth. The online course, which takes a few hours to complete, includes live-action, high-definition videos to provide comprehensive instruction in hunting safety practices. The cost of the course is normally $19.50 but is currently being waived during the COVID-19 pandemic with the use of a code. To qualify for the online option, students must be at least 11 years old.
