Hampton Receives Competitive Integrated Employment Grant The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education, in coordination with the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN), recently announced that Hampton Township School District was one of 21 recipients of the 2020-2021 Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) Grants. The purpose of the grant is to provide local education agencies (LEAs) with funds to establish or expand effective..., competitive integrated employment programming and community-based work experiences for youth with disabilities. The District will utilize grant funding to partner with local businesses and collaborate with one or more social service agencies as a means to establish or enhance a school based-career readiness program. The grant submission, entitled CEO Program: Competitive Employment Options, was chosen based on the high quality program development goals focused on the areas of: career development programming efforts; addressing existing program gaps; and developing meaningful relationships with parent, school district, community, and agency partners.

This little runner is getting some big motivation!
The Hampton Alliance for Educational Excellence’s 28th Annual 5K Run/Walk took place Oct. 3. This year, to promote social distancing and COVID safety, participants took to the sidewalks or trails in their own neighborhoods or at a community park, wearing their race t-shirts.
Did you participate in Saturday’s run/walk for HAEE? If so, message us your photos or videos here and we will share them! Check out how the morning started - with this performance from our HMS Band! https://youtu.be/G6Dr1iIsHyg
