Hanover Rhinos Football

Charity game between Rhinos and Blue Flames. Hanover Rhinos came home with 400 plus toys to help with the Hanover Area Toys for Tots program. Thank you Blue Flames Staff, Coaches, Players, their families and fans. A new Santa Bowl Tradition that started last year. We look forward to this for many years to come.

For so many of us, the events of 9/11 changed the course of our lives. On the 19th anniversary, we honor the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives on that day in 2001, and the first responders and Veterans who stepped up to aid and protect American citizens in the hours, days, and years that followed. Today and every day we remember them.

THIS Sunday at Manheim Adventure Park, we will be having our second day of tryouts. Positional workouts all day, come out and test your skills and see if you have what we need!

We hope to see you there this Sunday starting with registration at 10:30. Workouts start at 11 am sharp.

Sign in is at 10:30am at the North Hanover YMCA, tryouts start at 11am! We look forward to see those returning and potentially new faces this weekend!

Dear HHYF Parents, We have been working over the summer with the school district and the YAEFL to determine if we will have a football season. Thank you for be...ing patient as we await a final decision by the league. There are many safety factors under consideration with respect to Covid-19 and full contact sports. If the season does proceed, we will begin sending out communications about equipment pick up, practice dates, registration fees, and Covid-19 guidelines for practices and games to provide the safest environment possible for everyone. We will also be sending additional information via email about the timing for health physicals and the waivers and forms that need to be completed. Until we receive official word from the league about the season, we will be making preparations to move forward. We will be sending an email within the next week that will contain the start date for heat acclimation which will likely be in the first week or two of August. This will require no pads or helmet, so please plan to have your child wear shorts and a t-shirt. The HHYF organization, along with our varsity head coach Jon Alvarez, our junior varsity head coach Mike Bowersox, and our cheerleading head coach Kelly Fuhrman are eagerly looking forward to kicking off the 2020 football season. Due to our states guidelines with social distancing, we regret to inform those who looked forward to bringing their children to our summer camp, that we will not have the kids camp this coming Saturday. We will update everyone as soon as possible!
