Amy Sund- Integrative Shiatsu & Massage Therapy 07.05.2021

Hi all, I have delayed sending out emails and notes about my work status because it hasn’t been easy to accept not being in the office! I continue to be on hold with giving massage and have needed to relocate for the time being due to the changing times and unknowns. I have every intention to be back to the area and to offer massage again, I just don’t know how and when yet. I hope you are finding some flexibility and joy in the changing seasons and resilience with any challenges and discomforts. Please do something today that you love- even if it’s singing a song, sighing, or calling someone you appreciate. With heart and reverence, Amy

For the past few years, I've heard myself voice again and again how much I love what I do for work, and how appreciative I am for each and every person who has come to the office for an integrated massage session, once, twice or many times. Those of you who have been coming in as regulars for years, I hope you know how grateful I am for your support and for knowing you. It is such an honor to have built a practice with a goal of supporting people in their bodies and lives. ... It didn't require a pandemic to realize how full of reverence and gratitude I am, but I just wanted to express how I deeply miss coming to work. For all of you who know me in this context, I want to give you many thanks for supporting my business and taking time to support yourselves in all the ways you do. It's impossible to put into words all it's brought to my life to be able to do this work, but this seems like a good time to share. I'll be so happy to be in the office again. And whether you've come in for bodywork or if I've ever met you or not, I hope that you are able to find time to take care and be gentle on yourselves (and others) during this time. If it's comfortable, I hope you can take some deep breaths, move your body around (little movements or bigger ones), take walks if possible, dance, shake it out, hug yourself, give yourself a squeeze, make sounds, scream (into a pillow if others close don't want to hear it), sing, cry, laugh, call someone and/or whatever helps you feel well. Also, big thanks to everyone out there working- caring for kids, elders, loved ones, clients, patients, customers, pets, yourselves... I'm hoping this note finds you feeling some peace in your body, head and heart.
