A few pictures from this mornings row house fire on Glenwood Ave. 8 units were damaged. Everybody is safe and Red Cross was there to help those who lost their home.

Trick or Treat,in Harmony Township, will be on Thursday, October 29th from 6:00pm-8:00pm. If you didn’t get a chance to read the newletter, here it is. The Fire and Police departments will be driving around the community.

Tonight at our monthly meeting the Harmony Township Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary presented a check to the department in the amount of $5,000. They raised this money with Soup sales, raffle tickets and other fund raisers. They plan on another Soup sale on November 9th so please support them so they can continue to support our department.

First Aid - CPR training and certification. Thank you to Economy Ambulance for the training.

We will be helping the Family Matters Food Pantry collect food on this day. If you can please donate to this worthy cause. If you can not donate on this day, if you would like to donate food or money feel free to drop it off at the fire station if someone is there or at the Township Building.

This morning I am reading State Rep. Rob Matzie's post about the State Fire Commissioners COVID grant. I do not see our departments name listed. I checked the site and nothing is listed for us in Beaver County. I get out the paper work and make sure that everything is correct and can not figure out why we didn't receive one. As I am looking at just about every department in the state that received one I come across this: Harmony Township Volunteer Firemen Inc. Allegheny Cou...nty $ 24,657 (Should have been Beaver County) Someone made an "oops" and my anxiety level went back to "0". You see with the COVID crisis this year all of our fund raising efforts were canceled. Without this grant our operating budget would have been seriously impacted.
