During this crisis the Harrisburg Kung Fu Centers physical location is not open. To assure the general public still has an opportunity to promote health, and wellbeing, along with great self defense skills. The Harrisburg Kung Fu Center and Yoga on Walnut has launched online classes using Zoom. This means even if you are not a current student you may still start classes. All you need to do is contact us via phone or email, expressing an interest to start Kung Fu, Tai Chi,... Arnis or Hatha Yoga. We will set up a time to discuss with you the process. Obviously, since we are considered to be a non-life-sustaining business we’re ordered to close temporarily until the mandate is lifted. However, as most of you know, we’re now offering classes via Zoom. We will continue to use this app until the school can reopen. Effective Immediately, the Pai Lum Schools of Central PA (Harrisburg, Mechanicsburg, Elizabethtown, and Palmyra) will be suspending all Martial Arts, Tai Chi and Yoga classes. We will be reviewing this shut down by a week to week basis in order to support the state mandate to suspend all non- essential activities and to slow the spread of the corona virus. During the closing we will be setting up various modes of ideas for you to be able to continue your training till the sch...ools reopen. Please check your schools various social media access points to get individual work out plans. All of the school owners will be available for contact by phone, text and email should questions or concerns arise. As always, the safety of our students and their families are paramount to us. We will be continuing classes as normal through the week. We are following health protocols and advisement from the CDC and our State agencies. In addition to this recent concern, we would like to remind families to be vigilant about the prevalence of Influenza A and B as well. Both the influenza virus and coronavirus spread through coughing and sneezing and have similar symptoms of fever, cough, and respiratory illness.... As with any respiratory virus, influenza A and B included, you can protect yourself by practicing these everyday actions: * wash hands frequently with soap and water * cover nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing * disinfect surfaces * avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms We would like to insure you that we are continuing to diligently disinfect surfaces between every class. We’d request that you: 1. Only attend class in clean and washed uniforms. 2. Wash your hands thoroughly before class (20 seconds with soap) or, use hand sanitizer. 3. Cover your nose and mouth with your elbow or a tissue when coughing or sneezing. 4. Do not attend class with a cold, fever, or flu-like symptoms. Let us know and, we’ll be sure and help with make-up classes when you’re feeling better to make sure you don’t fall behind. Again your safety is our greatest concern and we will be continuing following all protocols to keep our environment clean during our current health concerns. Thank you

Due to this evening's potentially hazardous travel conditions and our policy to follow the local school district's cancellation policy, we will not hold Kung Fu classes tonight. As always, our primary concern is of the students' and families safety with travel during winter weather, please be careful out there!
