A 5-time Emmy award winner, Hal Holbrook was known for playing iconic characters in movies like All the President’s Men, The Firm, Wall Street, and Men of Honor. He was also known for his portrayal of Mark Twain and Abraham Lincoln in plays and television. From 1942-46, Holbrook served in the US Army. Most recently, Holbrook had been married to Dixie Carter until her death in 2010. Holbrook was 95 years old.
