Our live stream of our church service is starting any minute. We are now streaming on Faithlife instead of Facebook. Please go to https://buff.ly/3g0cpT7 to watch now. Just click on the image of our sanctuary to begin watching. Consider creating an account with Faithlife and following Harvest Fellowship (Stevens, PA). This will allow you to be able to chat, watch past services we streamed, and watch on your SMART TV using the Faithlife TV app. Regardless though, you can still watch from the attached link or directly from our website. There should be specific posts on our FB page on further instructions.

If you saw our previous post on watching our live stream directly from our web site, I'd like to propose an alternate way to watch that allows you to chat with those watching similar to Facebook! You can watch us live on Sunday mornings and now Wednesday evenings at... https://faithlife.com/harvest-fellowship-stevens/livestream... This nice little page gives you a live chat window, along with a handy dandy Bible, as well as a virtual bulletin containing everything in our presentation software, that may or may not be relevant. We're working on how to better utilize that feature, so kindly ignore anything in there that doesn't seem quite right. TO USE THE CHAT... You will need to sign into your Faithlife account or create one which is very simple. Just click the Sign In button and then click the "Get Started!" link. This will redirect you to the Faithlife register page. Fill out the information and click REGISTER. Next, type Harvest Fellowship and look for "Harvest Fellowship (Stevens, PA)" with our logo. It should transport you to you very own Faithlife page and show you everything from our church group, similar to Facebook. From there, click on the Harvest Fellowship group under groups on the left, then on the Content menu under Community, and finally, Live Stream. Hooray! You're back to where you left off! VERY IMPORTANT! If when you get to the https://faithlife.com/harvest-fellowship-stevens/livestream page and the video area is not playing and you think we should be live, then make sure you click your mouse over the video area to begin watching. PRO TIP!! If you want to watch the video feed in full screen, just move your mouse over the video and just to the left of the Faithlife TV logo should be a broken rectangle. Click it and it should fill your entire screen! Lastly, you may notice some very minor audio or video stuttering which is completely normal as the stream begins to stabilize. I have not seen it happen more than a dozen times over the course of a few minutes. It became very smooth and consistent for me while I tested it and I think it is a better quality picture. Enjoy! Next session is on how to watch from your Smart TV (Roku, Fire TV, etc.) using the Faithlife TV app on your TV. Hint...You will need a Faithlife account ahead of time.

I will attempt to give you multiple ways to watch us online on Sunday mornings and now Wednesday evenings. Scroll through our Facebook page to discover other ways to watch. The first way to watch is directly from our website at... https://harvestpa.com/welcome/home/news/ You may have to scroll down to the "Live Stream Current Sermon" section. You can expect to see "The event is not currently live." message is we didn't begin streaming from our computer and camera. Also, yo...u can expect the section to continually refresh as it constantly keeps checking automatically to see if we're streaming or not. You may or may not have what appears to be a error message in the very beginning just before you see our 5 minute countdown. This seems like a benign issue that may get resolved at some point but for now, you can ignore it since it seems to work itself out. VERY IMPORTANT!! Once the live stream is available to watch, you will NEED to click the play button (triangle inside of a circle) to begin watching. PRO TIP!! We're moving our Streamed Services, that is! We are taking a leap of faith into, hopefully, a better streaming service and getting away from Facebook. We have had many problems that we believe could be resolved by switching to a Christian-based service called, Faithlife TV. You will still be able to watch us live and watch the fully streamed service afterwards like before. It just won't be going through Facebook and it will be stored on Faithlife like we have been doing our... audio sermons. This coming Sunday, April 11th, we are hoping to try it out for the first time (after a few test runs of course). We ask that you all would remain patient with us as we transition to Faithlive TV. Now for the details. You will always be able to watch us live directly from our church website at https://harvestpa.com/welcome/home/news/ or alternatively, there are a number of ways to watch us from your Smart TV, tablet, phone or computer. I recommend signing up for a free Faithlife account and logging in so you can access the live chat feature. The way we have been doing it, has be overly complicated and required a huge demand on the multimedia team to remember everything and focus on both the live stream AND on the presentation for those able to physically attend.
