Feeling grateful and generous this Thanksgiving? We are, too! We are grateful for our donors, for those that have shared our mission, and for our new partnership with Union United Methodist Church. Together, we have already offset childcare costs for 3 local children, with plans to fund other families, soon! We live in such a generous community! Keep our mission in mind as we head into #GivingTuesday. Your generosity could make all the difference for local working families during this pandemic. Donate or apply at sites.google.com/view/havlearn

It's official! HAVLearn has now partnered with the nonprofit and community outreach arm of Union United Methodist Church on Brookline! They already have so many service projects that help our community, from supporting the Hope Food Pantry to backpack giveaways; we're proud to partner with them in our mission to offset the cost of school-age childcare for families during COVID. This means that all donations (once our new donation platform is in place) will now be tax-deducible! Just in time, too, as we're getting more applications... https://www.facebook.com/Union-Methodist-Church-in-Brookline-1546327008939527/

HAVLearn assisted its first family today! Combined with ELRC subsidies, we were able to cover the ENTIRE cost of virtual learning care for a family with THREE elementary-age children enrolled, for the next SIX WEEKS!!!!
