Happy Easter! He is Risen!
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend Ethel Hugi Koudela. Hugi went home to her Lord during the night. She loved Hawthorne and her church family. We will post her obituary when it is published, but at Hugi's request, there will not be any arrangements. We will dedicate a portion of this Sundays church service to Hugi. We already miss you Hugi!
Happy Birthday to Hawthorne Ave Presbyterian Church. On January 23, 2021, our church turned 125 years old. We should have been able to celebrate in grand style this year, but now will have to wait a little longer. Happy Birthday to us!! We are holding services every Sunday at 11am. Our pews are roped off to maintain proper distance and masks are required. Hope to see you soon! Blessings to you all.
Hawthorne Church will be closed tomorrow, August 16th. Hope to reopen next Sunday.

A letter from Paul - Sunday - July 26, 2020 - Eighth Sunday after Pentecost Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ, Why do I feel like we have done all this before?
