KidsForShe is a nonprofit organization by kids for kids, made to foster a passion for gender equality within girls and boys ages 10-14. Through creative interactive events and thought-provoking original social media content, KidsForShe will educate, engage, and empower our future leaders to be advocates for true gender equality wherever they go. Volunteer positions available: Chief Communications Officer:... - Conducts research for our social media and events (coordinates with content creator so that research can become content) - Leads occasional focus group discussions with our intended audience in order to see how we can best serve them - Designs surveys preceding and following our events - Continually works to discover the best way to continue our mission of educating, engaging, and empowering kids through thought-provoking content and interactive events. - Useful skills: research, surveys, good communication skills, dependable Content Creator/Social Media Manager: - Runs all of our social media accounts (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok) - Creates daily creative content for Instagram and Twitter and weekly content for TikTok - Actively engages with others on social media in order to increase our network - Useful skills: Canva, social media, consistent, organized, willing to spend time on our social media on a daily basis. Web Designer - Can efficiently redesign our wordpress website based off a model that has already been designed - Useful skills: wordpress, photoshop Contact: [email protected]

The Hunger Auction, a Marilou Allen Office of Service & Community Collaboration, is BACK! It looks a little different this year - but what doesn't?? This will take place all virtually, and the prizes will be gift cards to local businesses. Donate to Philabundance online, and send your donation confirmation to [email protected]. Let us know which raffles you'd like to enter - $25 to: Sweet Freedom Bakery, earth and state (only delivers locally), and/or DiBruno Bros. Every $1 donated = 1 raffle ticket! Make a Card for a Healthcare Worker! We want to do a nice thing for the members of our community who have been working so hard for many months now to keep us safe and healthy. You can drop your completed cards off in the bag outside of the Office of Service - Stokes 118B - any time before Friday November 20th. If you aren't able to pick up supplies this morning, don't worry - we left extra outside of the office as well! Thanks so much and stay well!

We want to do a nice thing for the members of our community who have been working so hard for many months now to keep us safe and healthy.
