Just giving everyone an update on what Michael has been working on since October. Michael will be Executive Chef at Oori restaurant opening at the end of December. Oori is a Korean/American restaurant serving small plates, Ramen and Korean Fried Chicken using local purveyors whenever possible. Here’s a look at some of the menu testing that’s been happening. Tonight’s my last day at Rebel Hill. I’ve been offered an executive chef opportunity I couldn’t pass up. The new spot isn’t opening till late November, so I’m keeping things under wraps till we get closer to opening, but don’t worry I’ll post teasers as things progress. It’s a local spot, so I can continue to feed all of you who’ve supported me for the past 15 years. I can’t wait to begin this new chapter in my culinary career.

Yeah so this is a thing now. Executive Chef of Rebel Hill Brewing. Starting this week, you can find me here. Really excited for this opportunity, I can’t wait to start cooking great seasonal food to go along with some really amazing beers.

Unfortunately the weather forecast tricked us all week with the predicted rain and we decided not to attend this weeks phoenixville farmers market. But now voila. Sun and cool temps. We will not be there but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t be. 10-12 under the Gay street bridge.
