The Heitzenrater’s would like to wish each of you a Happy New Year!! With your generous support once again, 2020 was another tremendous year for the Heitz 61 Memorial Foundation. We are so very thankful for our volunteers, sponsors, and donors. With each and every one of you our Foundation will continue to flourish over the years. Although this past year presented many challenges, we are still thankful we were able to do what we could. The highlights of the year included a...warding $12,000 in academic scholarships to four outstanding candidates and holding a Ryan Strong Free Day of Games for 60 young hockey players. Our Heitz of Heaven Hockey Tournament and 5K Race that was held in September looked very different this year because of the restrictions that were in place due to COVID, but we are thrilled we were still able to hold the event in memory of our precious Ryan. With eight amateur youth hockey teams, our race participants, and many donors and volunteers, the weekend was still a success. Ryan continues to shine his light on us everywhere we go. He shows his presence while we are hosting events through his Foundation in very small, but subtle ways. Thank you once again for your support. We wish you and your family a Happy New Year! The Heitzenrater Family would like to wish each of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are very thankful for all of our family, friends, volunteers, sponsors and donors who have dedicated so much to make our Foundation successful. Today, however, our family is most thankful for the precious gifts we've been sent this year and the thirteen unforgettable years God gave us with Ryan. The years that we were given the privilege to share with him - so many smiles, tears, endless memories. Ryan taught us so much while he was here and continues to impact the lives of many. Today we pray others truly recognize all they have to be grateful for in their lives and don’t overlook the treasures they have been given. HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS!
