Coming soon! This cedar chest is long overdue for some love and a new life. I'm finally done brainstorming on how to create a one of a kind look on it and it is going to be killer. The top will be stained with Dixie Belle No Pain Gel Stain in Espresso. The bottom will be done in a super rich and smooth color called Antebellum Blue by Dixie Belle. Then I'll be making and adding some awesome little resin bird molds from Re Design with Prima on both sides and the front, trailing... them around the corners to give it a nice flow. The birds and branches will then be stippled in a Copper Gemstone Mousse by Dixie Belle giving it a metalic sheen. Finally the whole piece will be top coated in a DB Flat clear coat. Pending for Rachael Antique Secretary Desk $450... Measuring 40 1/2 tall, 18 inches deep, and 30 1/2 inches wide. This vintage desk has been completely refinished inside and out with some absolutely amazing products. A before picture has been listed to show how far it has come from its original state. The frame has been painted in "Botanical" by Wise Owl Mineral Chalk Synthesis Paint, highlighted by areas of hand sanded, raw and sealed wood throughout both the interior and exterior. Freehanded apothecary No's have been painted down the center fronts of the bottom drawers using Wise Owl Heavy Metals Metalic Guilding Paint in "Gold Dust". A portion of a "Somewhere In France" Re Design by Prima Decore Transfer in metalic gold has been added to the outter top lid. Authentic and solid apothecary cup pulls have been refitted to both the lid and the drawer fronts pulling the french look of the piece together. On the interior lid I've used a Redesign with Prima "Handwritten note" stamp dipped in the Wise Owl Gold Dust Guilding Paint on top of a raw wood exposure. I then gently shaded the edges with the Botanical body color to blend it well. Gold transom chains have been installed on either side to create extra support for the lid/writing area when open and in use. In addition, this fully functional desk comes with a newly painted, newly padded and newly upholstered chair. Only the finest quality fabric was used for the seat, bringing both color and neutrality to this addition. Both the desk and the chair have been sealed in Dixie Belle Satin Clear Coat for protection and easy clean up. This is a fashionable and fully functioning desk with a ton of storage.
