It's market day today! Come on over to the Huntingdon Farmers' Market at Portstown Park today from 12-3 (11:30 for seniors and virus-vulnerable) to support your... local growers, bakers, makers, and vintners. Today we will have ground cherries, cherry tomatoes, heirloom slicing tomatoes, okra, peppers, beans, eggplant, beets, spring onions, sweet onions, potatoes, okra, cabbage, lettuce, garlic, flower bouquets, sprouts, zucchini, yellow squash, rainbow chard, kale varieties, basil, and a few other goodies. Please bring a mask, as mask-wearing has now been mandated and we are still practicing distancing protocols. We don't like wearing masks either, but some of us live/work with high risk folks, and some of you are high risk as well--so we don't want to take any chances. Not to mention that if one of us were to get sick it would destroy our business and shut down the market. We appreciate you, and we take your well-being seriously :) For those of you who would like to order for pick-up in the future, visit the website at huntingdonfarmersmarket.org from noon on Saturday to noon on Tuesday to make your selections.
