Sunday Morning Worship Dec 13th 2020

Dear Brothers and Sisters, As you are aware, Covid 19 is becoming more prevalent in our area. Although I'm not aware of any in our congregation who have tested positive, it is impacting extended families in our Church. In his announcement yesterday, Governor Wolf initiated a limit of 10 persons for any indoor gatherings. Although he exempted houses of worship from this, he is strongly encouraging that churches consider alternative forms of worship due to the immense amount... of community spread which is occurring. Given the current situation, we have decided to return to online-only worship beginning this Sunday through the end of the year. I will continue to email the bulletins and provide Zoom links each week. We will also continue our Facebook live feed. We will also be doing Elementary Sunday School and Prayer Meeting via Zoom. If you have Christmas Cards you were going to bring to church to distribute, you may drop them off at the parsonage and we will distribute them at the end of next week. I know that this is a special time of the year and we all want to be able to come together for in-person worship, but I would rather say that we did what we could to ensure that we will all be together next Christmas than risk the alternative.
