An already challenging year for Natalie and Wesley Harris became unfathomably worse when their 6-year-old son, Jax, was diagnosed with cancer last month. However, they still have reasons to celebrate thanks, in part, to the generosity of strangers in Ohio.

Mary Ann Konsugar, a registered radiologic technologist at Monongahela Valley Hospital, was among the first health care workers at the hospital to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, marking a significant milestone in the fight against the pandemic that has killed more than 300,000 Americans.

With many heading out across the state to hunt deer, a unique nonprofit organization offers them a chance to give back.
