Just a thought... while none of us (even the geniuses whose job it is to know) can know what's going to happen Friday, they're talking about seeing some more precipitation. Could be rain, but if the temps stay low, I know, I know... it's terrible to say it, but there could be more snow. And that's not even to mention the next SNOW storm forecast for next weekend... AND THE WEEKEND AFTER THAT, TOO!!!!!! So, at least for now, I'm suggesting that as many of you as can, please try to get into the office on Wednesday (tomorrow). This way you can, at least, get adjusted once this week in case Friday is another day of apocalyptic weather. If not, I will, as usual, make every attempt to be there Friday. Hey, everyone! I hope you're all safe and sound in your homes keeping warm and not killing yourselves shoveling... at least not yet. It's now 6pm on Sunday, and I think, based on what has fallen so far and what they're calling for during the next 24 hours, at least, it's a good idea to "call the game" for tomorrow and let you all know now that we're not going to be there on Monday, the first of February. Not only are we a bit skittish about going out on the roads tomorr...ow, we'd be just as nervous knowing that any of you are out there as well. So... let's try to get together on Wednesday to get rid of those subluxations. Leave a message here if you want to get in touch with us before then. Any phone messages you leave on the office phone will be heard and answered on Wednesday morning. Stay safe, warm, and healthy. Watch it if you do find yourself outside for any reason. See more

The winter moves on upon us.... It's getting cold up in here, but we'll do everything we can to be here each day of February for you. If weather keeps us out of the office, we'll always post it here, so keep an eye. Make sure you're FOLLOWING us so that all our posts (calendars, notices, etc.) are getting to you immediately. Here's January's calendar (a little late, but it's still here thanks to Joanie B.). We're here all normal days this month. Also, don't forget the following: 1) Danielle is available for massage appointments Thursday and Saturday as well as during the normal office hours. Call her at 570-856-3625. 2) Patients get a considerable discount on massages as long as they've been adjusted within the month preceding the massage appointment date. As an example, if you make a massage app...ointment for January 22nd, then (in order to qualify for the patient massage rate) you need to have been seen by Dr. Herman sometime since December 22nd. [NOTE: If you haven't been seen in the last month, then you may also make an appointment to be seen by Dr. Herman at the time of the massage to satisfy the requirement.] 3) If you haven't been seen in the office for a continuous period of three years or more, then you are, by state law, considered a NEW patient and will need to begin again with a new patient first visit when you come back into the office for care. 4) Our hours for chiropractic care are 9-1 and 3-7 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. So, call 570-424-5433 or stop in to get rid of those nasty subluxations and start living your best and healthiest life!!

FYI...We're in the office regular hours on Friday, the 18th. The snow hasn't stopped us!!! Danielle will also be accepting massage appointments on Thursdays and Saturdays from now on. Time for some cooler, more comfortable weather, people!!! Autumn is on the horizon!! Here's our September 2020 calendar. Note that we will be closed on Monday, the 7th to celebrate Labor Day, but will be here all of the other regular days. Also, we are happy to announce that Danielle has expanded her hours on Fridays to be here a couple of hours earlier than before. She is now taking massage appointments on Fridays starting at 3:30 PM rather than at 5:30 as she was before. Sh...e'll still be available all of Mondays and Wednesdays as she was before and other off-times by appointment. Call now to make your appointments for massage as her schedule has been filling up faster and faster each week. Patients of our office get discounted rates, so if you were ever curious about the benefits of massage, now is the time to find out how much better you can feel all the time! On the continued "celebration front," those of you who have been to the office during August have, hopefully, received your free string bag commemorating Dr. Herman's 30th year in practice in the Poconos. Now you can proudly show the world that you have been loving your Dr. Herman for three whole decades!! If you haven't gotten yours yet, ask when you're at the front desk. What many of you don't know is that the first five years that Dr. Herman spent in this office, he worked for another chiropractor from whom he purchased the office on 9/11/95. So... that means that Herman Family Chiropractic (as a business) is also celebrating a major milestone on the 11th of this month - our 25th anniversary!!! Starting on the 11th, be sure to pick up your anniversary gift when either signing in or leaving the office after getting adjusted (and/or massaged). What will it be? Find out on or after the 11th... Happy Middle-Of-The-Summer!! And what a summer it has been so far!! Don't complain; this is what summer is supposed to look like. (Not with all of us running around with masks on and avoiding every other living person, but the heat and humidity stuff.) We're planning on being here every day that we're supposed to be here this month, as you can see on the accompanying August calendar.
