HGMICS Board of Trustees Meeting Notice: The Board of Trustees of the Howard Gardner Multiple Intelligence Charter School will conduct its regular school board meeting electronically for the month of April. The public meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. with public access available by contacting the school no later than 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 20th at [email protected] to obtain remote access to the public meeting. The purpose of the school board meeting is to conduct school business and governance in administering a thorough and effective charter school. All formal action of the school board will be taken only during public meetings.

Today we reviewed the expectation of being Respectful and had a Random Act of Kindness Day. The school's random act of kindness for the students today was a treat of Rita's Italian Ice!

This past week, Intermediate students completed a project on the 3 Branches of Government. Students have been learning about the different parts of our Government, Checks and Balances, and the U.S Constitution. Below are some of the projects that the students completed as a review of this unit!

Wellness Wednesday: Go for the Greens! Go for the Greens promotes green veggies as good food and good fun! HGMICS celebrates this event with taste-testings and other classroom fun activities to open young minds and taste buds to the greatness of greens! Today, students enjoyed sampling green fruits and vegetables during their lunch breaks.
