Lady has such a hard life here, enjoying turn out with her bestie (Blue) and other friends. It’s so difficult mowing the lawn and getting Snackies twice a day

Due to renovations and the high wind, the round pen didn’t make it. We got tired of putting it back up after every wind storm so we recycled the wood for my new tack room. Because of this, I no longer have an area to do a jump chute. My arena has no fence. Once we figure out how to do another jump chute, we will continue to practice with Lady. Until then, please enjoy the last few clips of her update video where she is trotting in and cantering out and then cantering the whole thing over a canter pole grid, as well as the Photos from her jump chute last month. You can watch how easily she goes right through. Due to her age we will not be jumping her undersaddle, so please, do not ask.

Some clips from yesterday’s ground poles workout. Finally got the pivo kind of figured out, it got a lot of video of the backside of the barn and the horses in the field rolling, but we also got some awesome clips of Lady doing her first day of undersaddle ground poles like a champ.

Harper is looking for a long term living home. She slipped going into the workout pool at the track abd developed a fluid build up in her hock. As you can see it doesn’t bother her, but because it will require maintenance we are looking for a soft landing with the right family. She is not unsound, she just needs time and patience.

We have two little fillies that are absolutely amazing but imperfect. They both will need a good soft landing and time to develop. Both are quiet and sweet, and both are beautiful movers. Ellie, Eli’s Dream, the 16hh black filly, is body and foot sore, and the frozen ground isn’t doing her any favors. Her ground manners aren’t the best, but she is an attention seeker and will end up a gorgeous girl given the time she needs to fill out and loosen up. Ellie will mature to be ab...out 16.2+ and has the delicate hunter build everyone wants with a thick muscular neck that will impress. Harper, Harbor Invasion, the 15hh bay filly, slipped and bumped her hock when in the workout pool at the track. The hock has soft swelling, indicative of a hematoma. She is sound, but a little stiff due to the fluid buildup up. She’s got a sweet personality and a willingness to please that is unmatched. Harper will mature to be about 15.3hh and is a stocky little girl that will have the qh build to do 4h. Both are good for the trailer, pick up their feet, pony well, and come to you in the field. Both mounted nicely and stood to be tacked. Both lunge in a round pen well. Both will be lovely mounts when they are older. They are both currently at MAKE AN OFFER. Reasonable offers will be entertained, these girls are not unsound. They just need time. They are both being given a week off before revaluation.

The ground was too hard to do much with this little filly today, so I just went around enough to see what she’s like. She will be getting a week off as she’s a little sore from the track. She’s super sweet and very much a lazy push ride undersaddle. Hopefully some R&R will get Ellie loosened up! She’s super cute from the small amount of footage I did get

Who’s got a soft spot for under dogs? Meet Harbor Invasion, aka Harper! Harper is a 2018 filly (DOB 5/3/18) that just wasn’t going to make it at the track. This little girl slipped in the work out pool and has swelling in the hock, but it doesn’t affect her soundness, it’s just ugly. Due to her unfortunate circumstances, she got retired early. Harper stood to be tacked, loves attention, and it’s the sweetest little bug you’ll ever meet. Currently standing at 15hh, if that, Harper should mature to about 15.3/16hh. She would make a great level headed mount for someone looking to do 4h, trail riding, or lower end showing for fun. Don’t let that blemish on her hock scare you away, this little girl is adorable and sweet as can be, she just needs time and love.
