Dreaming of Spring....thinking of seeds and growing things. Planning on setting up a seed starting operation indoors SOON.

Today is the last day we'll be at Robinwood Medical Center with LOTS of gorgeous greens, the cool heirloom squashes, beets, carrots and some tomatoes. We'll be having a buy one get one free on kale, chard and beets - come & see us!

What fun it was to go out in the field and harvest these beautiful heirloom varieties. They were grown in a part of the pasture that we hadn't tilled up before and many native American artifacts were turned up in the process. This farm sits on the highest point for many miles around and there was an Indian settlement here long ago.

I'm here at Robinwood Medical Center with our delicious and FRESH produce. There's a new batch of carrot cake preserves and the greens are gorgeous. Please come see.

I made a wonderful soup from our vegetables. Our own potatoes, tomatoes, green beans, garlic, onions, swiss chard, zucchini and organic carrots from the Valley Co-op of Washington County, MD.
