Macedonia FACE in partnership with the Neighborhood Resilience Project is assisting with the registration process for Hill District residents age 65 or older who are interested in obtaining the vaccine. The Health Department will be providing the vaccine by appointment only at the old Shop N Save building on Centre Avenue in the Hill District on Friday, February 5th and Saturday, February 6th. This clinic is by appointment only. Interested Hill District residents age 65 or older should call Macedonia FACE at 412-281-2573 to speak with a member of the registration team. The Greater Pittsburgh League of Women Voters has informed the public that 40 Allegheny County poll workers have dropped out at the last minute. Could you please get the word out to anyone who might have considered being a poll worker that there is an URGENT NEED. It’s a long day (6 am to 9 pm) but all poll workers are paid $200.
