Wednesday, April 7th the Drexel Neurodragons will be screening a documentary titled "Autism Goes to College", a documentary that follows five college students on the Autism spectrum, who describe their college experiences, goals, and reflections. This screening will be in collaboration with the makers of the documentary, as well as the Hill Top Preparatory School Class of 2021. #neurodiversity #HillTopStrong

Hill Top 5th, 6th and 7th graders recently explored the art of linocut printmaking. They learned about artists who have used the medium of printmaking such as Albrect Durer, and Utagawa Hirashige. They also looked at more contemporary artists' works of Ashley Brian and Brian Reedy. We talked about contrast and how the act of carving away makes a relief. The students explored their own ideas and the results were bold and powerful.

A "must-watch" for the entire Hill Top Preparatory School Community shared by Headmaster Tom Needham. Mr. Christopher Peckham, CBE was diagnosed with Aspergers at the age of 40. Well known throughout the UK as a naturalist, Mr. Peckham describes his experience throughout his life as a very bright man fascinated by nature and science who struggles to "fit in". Hill Top Prep Student Council handed out more than 100 TastyKake pies to students and faculty during lunch today to celebrate Pi Day which falls on Sunday this year. The day also includes a pie chain contest and a "nerd-themed" dress down day in commemoration of this mathematical constant! #HilltopStrong

Brothers Carter ‘15 and Owen ’26 both started their Hill Top journeys in middle school. Carter is an alumnus of Hill Top Prep and last year, graduated from Villanova University. Currently, he works at SAP, a technological software company that helps businesses run smoothly on the internet. His younger brother Owen, is in seventh grade at Hill Top and is forming wonderful relationships with his peers. Kelsey is currently taking classes at Cabrini University. As part of Hill Top’s Horizons program this year, she is learning independence, managing college level coursework, and advocating for herself. Kelsey plans to study Occupational Therapy in college. She’s been accepted to Misericordia, DeSales, Kutztown and Cabrini Universities, as well as Northampton and Lehigh Carbon Community Colleges.
