Historic Fairhill is looking for an energetic, responsible, friendly individual with skills in gardening/farming, teaching children in groups, and working with people of different backgrounds in a team. This position requires personal and professional maturity, creativity, and commitment to the vision and mission of Historic Fairhill. This part-time position requires an average of 15 hours per week, reduced hours in the winter but year-round, flexible scheduling, some Saturdays. Hours to be negotiated as the program grows. We will be honoring the memory of Principal Hernandez tomorrow at 2pm outside of the school. Principal Hernandez fought to live and care for Julia de Burgos Elementary School in the neighborhood she knew from childhood. She was strong and determined to give her students an education they deserved. We will be forever grateful that she welcomed us into @deburgos_elementary as school partners and will work to carry on her legacy.
