Here's a great post about the C. Emlen Urban designed Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum by two of our board members, Benton Webber and Adam Zurn. Check out the great "Then and Now" photos plus a detailed article on the structure's history. https://unchartedlancaster.com//visit-ancient-eygpt-witho/
For more than 45 years, the prolific C. Emlen Urban created many of the historic landmarks that are fundamental to the beloved character of Lancaster City. His 1911-1912 Kirk Johnson Building on West King Street was home to everything pertaining to music. Items for sale ranged from pianos to dance lessons. During the 1920s, the building was even home to radio station 1160 WKJC. Click the link to learn more. https://hptrust.org/c-emlen-urban-kirk-johnson-building-on/

It was a whirlwind of a weekend! Scores of people joined the crusade to find the treasure at the end of the Secret Trust Adventure. The Longnecker family using a single segment of the GPS coordinates and their superior local history skills to decipher the poem located the cache this evening. Congratulations! The box has been returned to its hiding place and filled with commemorative 3D printed medallions for those wanting to continue to hunt.
It's week 1 of the Secret Trust Adventure. Your quest to find the treasure begins at the Columbia Crossing River Trails Center! Up for grabs is a cache worth over $1,000 in dollar coins and a painting by Scott Cantrell for a grand total of $3,000 in loot. Click the link to begin your quest. https://wp.me/pazrDx-3Ql
