As we were on our way to the church this morning, our travel was delayed by a Trump parade in Monroeville of about 100-150 cars with police front and rear guard.... Cars were decorated, flags were flying, horns were blowing in support of Mr. Trump. I read a little later where a Biden/Harris campaign had to be cancelled after a highway ambush by a Trump contingency. There are reports where Republicans are moving toward voter suppression by questioning signatures on individual ballots. There are reports that there may be people stationed at the polls to stop you from casting your vote. Don’t forget that Mr. Trump has publicly told the Proud Boys to Stand back and stand by. Mr. Trump has been excused by a certain segment of society to spew hatred and venom at whoever stands in his way. And don’t forget what Eric Trump (yes I called your name) stated about black folk. This is something that we as Americans, especially Black Americans should not stand for. You WILL respect me as a human being. You WILL NOT call me out of my name. Ladies and gentlemen, if you have already voted, thank you. If you have not yet voted, don’t be fearful nor intimidated to go to the polls on Tuesday. Don’t let people talk to you any type of way. Pray, get to the polls early, go there proudly to cast your vote and let God work. I got into good trouble and voted. I am not intimidated, I would not be denied. I exercised my vote. It’s the right of every American. Its a right my fore parents fought and even died for. My vote is cast. My voice will be heard. I will protest when needed and will not be silenced. And every elected official will have their feet held to the fire because that’s my right as an American citizen.
