CROSSING GUARDS NEEDED The Hollidaysburg Area S. D. is seeking interested persons for the position of school crossing guard for the 2021-2022 academic year. The openings are for a seasonal part-time position as well as substitute positions. Candidates must have the Act 151 Child Abuse Clearances. Positions to be filled will include both a morning and afternoon shift. Starting wage $9.00/hour. The HASD academic year will begin on August 25, 2021. Interested persons may request and complete an application in the Hollidaysburg Borough Manager’s Office at 401 Blair Street, second floor.

Due to the impending storm, all in-person learning in the Hollidaysburg Area School District will be dismissed today Wednesday, December 16th at noon. There will be no in-person learning tomorrow, Thursday, December 17th. Buildings will be closed. Please note, virtual learning will continue as scheduled this afternoon and tomorrow. Students will be required to login to their classes and complete assigned work as they would during a normal virtual day. Unless otherwise notified, in-person classes for our special needs population will resume Friday, December 18th.
