Thank you to all who visited our flea market, bake sale and food sale today and for helping to make it a success! Thanks also to those who donated goods and spent time and energy in the setup, baking and cooking. Your hard work is much appreciated!

Sunday, November 8, is the Feast of Holy Commander Michael the Archangel and All Angels. They protect us always and are our defenders against the devil. We honor them on this day especially, so pray daily for their continued help and protection. Holy Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen Angel of God, my guardian dear, to whom God's love commits me here, ever this day be at my side to light and guard, to rule and guide. Amen.

There's still an hour and a half left to our flea market, and the weather is beautiful so stop by and find some "treasures" The prices are great and there's a large variety, something for everyone! Books, kitchen and dishware, tools, furniture, small appliances, clothes, Christmas decorations, plus a bake sale, haluski, sloppy joe sandwiches, and homemade pirohi (pierogi) for sale! The sale is on until noon! Hope to see you there!

This Saturday, Nov. 7, the weather is on schedule to be sunny and warmer so stroll on over to our Flea Market and Bake sale. Come hungry and get some lunch too! Great prices and lots of treasures and treasures-to-be for Christmas decorating, clothes, books to read, music to play, dishes, lamps, tools, furniture, and more! Tell your family and friends, too! Wear your mask and we will follow other safety precautions as necessary. Free parking in our church lot. 9 a.m to noon. No early birds please. Level entrance, no steps.

We're still praying that our country stays peaceful as the results of this election unfurl. How about you? We can pray for you too. Just over a week to our #FleaMarket and Bake sale! Decorate for Christmas, find some nice items for home, office, entertaining (when we can do that again). Lots of books to read and music to listen to while you're home avoiding the crowds! Great prices on everything! Clothes too! Bring your mask and your friends! We'll follow appropriate Covid19 rules!

The last Sunday in October is celebrated as the Feast of Christ the King in the Byzantine Catholic Church. We strive to firmly accept Jesus as King in our hearts, souls, and minds in order to truly belong in the Kingdome of God. Our Divine Liturgy acknowledges Christ as King of All several times, including the very first words the priest says: Blessed is the kingdom of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, now and ever and forever. May Christ the King truly be welcomed into our hearts, souls, and minds, that He may have mercy on us and save us.

Our Sunday Divine Liturgy will be at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow. All are welcome to join us in praising and thanking God -- The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit! Come early and join in the recitation of the Rosary beginning at 10:25. Tomorrow is the Feast of Christ the King in the Byzantine Church calendar. It is a joyful tribute to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, the King of All. May He have mercy on us and save us.
