As we enter the Second Sunday of Advent, we find ourselves tired in the midst of a pandemic. In fact, we are very weary. In spite of the weariness, we are called to prepare for the coming of Christ. Our preparations lead to a "Weary World Rejoicing" giving us "Peace"! Thank you to Rev. John Balliet, Marlene Milliron, and Ayden & Lauren Walker as they join Rev. Kendra Balliet at the Luthersburg Charge (Home Camp, Luthersburg, & Salem United Methodist Churches) and filmed at Luthersburg UMC for the charge.

Day 6: It was Balthazar who first noticed the uncomfortable warmth under foot, prompting a hasty relocation to safer grounds.

Day 5: The winged creatures were happy to provide directions but adamantly refused to consider serving as air transport, citing concerns about weight ratios.

Day 3: Choosing appropriate traveling companions was a difficult task, but identifying shared values aided in group cohesion.

The Pantry will be open this Thursday, December 3rd. Because of the the holiday, we will also be open the 10th and the 17th. For Christmas, beginning this week,... we are offering a choice of either a ham or a turkey. In addition to our regular offerings, we will have apples, plums, milk, eggs, snacks and real butter. We will also distribute bottles of liquid hand soap and sanitizer. We will also have gluten-free flour for those who request it. See more
