11/19/2020 To our clients COVID 19 UPDATE! With the ever changing status of the COVID situation, and the apparent increase in cases in our area, we have decided to implement the following procedures for our practice for the foreseeable future:... Farm Calls We will be limited to mainly essential work. Essential is defined as anything required for the horse immediately and can not be put off. These will be determined on a case by case basis as your calls come in to office. At a farm call we are asking that only one person be in attendance at the appointment to handle horse. It can be horse owner, farm owner, farm manager. And we ask that person in attendance wear a mask and do their best to maintain the 6 foot distancing requirement. Clinic Appointments We will scheduled as needed with a veterinary tech in attendance to assist the veterinarian with your horse. We will be asking owners to remain in (or with their vehicles) during the exam. The Doctor will come to vehicle to discuss anything needed during the exam. We also ask that owners wear mask and maintain the 6 foot distancing requirement. Medications/Drop offs - If you need to come to the clinic for any reason (i.e. to pick up medications, drop off payments, drop of fecals etc) We are again asking that the boxes on the table in the clinic be utilized as needed. All boxes are labeled please use appropriate box for your need. - Picking up medications All medications will be labeled and put in grey box on front porch for pick up as usual. Office - We ask that you do not come up to the office unless necessary, or requested to do so by staff and when you do, please wear mask and social distance.
