2020 has been many different things for us all. For me, it brought a much welcome time to slow down at home, more quality time with my boys that otherwise would not have happened this year, a jam-packed season of photo sessions and time to work on new ideas and opportunities. Even though it has also been wrought with challenges, I am beyond grateful for all that that it provided for my little business and for all of you who have continued to support me on my journey. For t...hat I say, "thank you". The busy season has certainly been that...busy! Keeping up with my social media fell a bit by the wayside to say the least. As I am wrapping up editing a few final sessions this year, I look forward to now having time to share all the beautiful faces I have had the honor of photographing over the last several months. I welcome the "slow" season to regroup and focus on some new and exciting things to come next year! The class of 2021 is a special one for me as my own son will be graduating high school. It's an emotional rollercoaster as a parent to say the least, especially in these times, but I am excited to continue to celebrate all the seniors in the photos that we capture. This is a very inspiring class. They are incredibly resilient, focused on what matters to them and determined to see themselves through to the other side of this pandemic. I feel more honored than ever to be a small part of their journey. So here's to 2021! If we have learned anything over the last year, it's that we are never promised tomorrow the way we had yesterday. One step at a time, one day at a time, we will work our way out. Keep your heads up, keep smiling, keep loving on each other. May this year be exactly what you hope and dream it to be. You deserve it.

Tomorrow is the day to donate to your favorite local organizations as part of the Extraordinary Give! There are many to choose from but Millport Conservancy is one that I support right here in Lititz that many don't even know is there. I take many clients here each year for their photo sessions because the scenery is gorgeous and changes throughout all the seasons. Memberships are available for those who love to fish (my boys love it there) and hike as there are trails thro...ughout and creeks/ponds galore! Their partnership with Franklin & Marshall College makes the property even more unique in that it is used for their science program and water conservation studies (Bio is still near and dear to my heart folks ). I definitely encourage you to send them a donation so that they can keep doing what they are doing for the kids and for those of us who love the outdoors! One of my fave sessions from this year’s senior class. The location was amazing, her styling was amazing and I think our end result was pretty amazing too. It still freaks me out how much she looks like her mom (who I’ve been friends with since the 4th grade) at this age. It’s like looking straight into your past.
