MES Parents and Guardians, This is a reminder our established arrival and dismissal protocols are still in operation for all students. It has come to our attention that cars are parking in the MES parking lot and Day Spring’s teacher lot to drop off or pick up students. Additionally, parents/guardians are using the bus lane to drop off students. Please note, at NO TIME should parents be picking up or dropping off their child from the parking lot or the bus lane to avoid the ...car rider line. The procedures have been created for the safety and security of the students and it is important that we follow the established protocol. To help expedite the morning drop off process, we will extend the drop off zone by adding more cones along the sidewalk. This will allow a few more students to get out at one time. Please be sure to pull up to the next available cone/spot to drop off your child(ren). This is a single lane, not a passing lane. If you need to come to the office for any reason or walk your child to the school door, please park your car and cross at the crosswalk. Also, if your child is walking to school, please reiterate that for their safety they should be crossing on the streets where there is a crossing guard. Thank you for your cooperation and support to keep all our students safe. Sincerely, Stacy Kain Mountville Principal
