When we ask our community to help others in need, they never disappoint. As part of #SewaDiwali , Lehigh valley Indian American community joined hands together for a contactless food collection drive though at the temple this Saturday and Sunday. We collected about 1000 pounds of food which will be donated to local food pantries. The food collection boxes are still at the temple for collection during regular temple hours. Let’s show everyone that we all deeply care for the community we all live in and celebrate the festival of light helping people who need it the most.
Tomorrow and Sunday, HTS is conducting a contactless, safe food drive outside the temple. Please attend and donate food items to help the needy The below flyer has details.

Please come to the temple on October 31 or Nov 1 for a contactless food drop off. Volunteers will be present outside the temple to help collect food items and make it safe to drop off food. Please contribute to help the needy
Food donation collection boxes are available at the temple for #SewaDiwali. All food that will be collected will be donated to local food pantries. Learn more about the nationwide effort at http://sewadiwali.org. This Diwali let’s work together to get help for local community who may need it the most! Please donate generously!
