Meet Sylvia! Sylvia is the Program Leader of our Women's and Family Enrichment Program (WFEP). The WFEP provides women with the skills and opportunities to build sustainable small businesses, manage home family finance, and access women-specific health seminars. Sylvia is also a certified Community Health Educator, regularly giving educational talks on public health topics that are most relevant to the local community. #cameroon #womenleaders #communityhealth

We're excited to introduce you to Yao Harumiyan Fonyuy! Since 2016, Yao has been the leader of our Library Program in Kumbo, Cameroon. Yao leads after-school programs, children’s literacy courses, computer training programs, spelling bees, and our summer education programs. Yao's enthusiasm for sharing knowledge continues to inspire joy, empowerment, and a love for learning. Thank you, Yao, for all that you do!

Over the next few weeks, we'd like to give you the opportunity to get to know our humanitarian staff in Cameroon and at our headquarters here in Honesdale, Pennsylvania. If this past year has taught us anything, it's the importance of celebrating the PEOPLE we live and work with each day. We're all interconnected in more ways than we sometimes realize.
