Quality Animal Management Training (QAM) is offering additional Spring sessions: April 26th (Small ruminants - Sheep and Goats), May 3rd (Dairy and Beef Cattle), and May 5th (Equine). Register for any of these sessions by May 5th at https://extension.psu.edu/4-h/qam

BREEDS is one of the five sections of the Virtual Sheep & Goat Skillathon to be held in conjunction with the virtual Maryland Sheep & Wool Festival May 1-2. In ...addition to identifying US sheep and goat breeds, participants may be asked to identify the breed's place of origin and classify the breed according to its primary purpose and type of wool or coat it has (depending upon age of participant). Youth ages 8-18 are invited to attend 4-H Exploration Series Spin Club! This five-week series will provide a taste of what 4-H has to offer, with hands-on activ...ities and live demonstrations to get participants going in their 4-H career. Offering a variety of different themes including an activity box provided to each participant prior to the start of the event will allow for corresponding hands-on activities.
