ATTENTION: Effective Tuesday April 13th, Pennsylvania will open vaccine eligibility for everyone age 16 and older for the COVID-19 vaccine. The Pfizer vaccine ...is for ages 16 and over. Moderna and J&J vaccine is for ages 18 and over. We, at the Broad Top offices have Moderna vaccines. This is given in a two shot series. The second shot is due 28 to 42 days after the first shot. Please contact our office to schedule a vaccination appointment and for any further questions.

Starting Tuesday, April 13, every adult in Pennsylvania will be eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Volunteer fire crews were called to the Mapleton American Legion on Railroad Street in Mapleton Borough early this morning for a working structure fire. Regional vaccine clinic to open in Centre County A regional vaccination clinic will open at the Bryce Jordan Center at Penn State beginning this Friday, April 9 at 11 a.m. with appointments available April 9, 10, 11, and 12. Beginning April 15, the clinic will operate five days a week, Thursdays-Mondays: noon-8 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekends. It will administer 600 doses per day initially, with the capacity to expand and will serve those in Centre and surrounding co...unties. Keep in mind, this is probably the location that will have the largest vaccine clinic in the region, so as phases open up and then become available to everyone April 19, this seems like a great option!
