Millers Run Road in #SouthFayette is closed between Sygan Road and Presto-Sygan Road from Tues. Jan. 5 through Sat. Jan. 23 for railroad work. This is expected ...to be the final closure needed to complete the work. The posted detour uses eastbound and westbound Route 50 (see map). No traffic is permitted to drive through the closure zone. Sygan Road and Presto-Sygan Road remain accessible to and from Millers Run Road. Railroad crews have been closing the area periodically to perform maintenance work to the railroad structure that runs over top Millers Run Road. South Fayette Township is not involved in this work and is providing this information as a courtesy to citizens.

For streets with Thursday trash collection, your pickup remains on Christmas Eve, Thurs. Dec. 24. For Friday streets, your collection is delayed one day due to Christmas. Your pickup this week is Sat. Dec. 26.

Leading up to Christmas, you can drive through Fairview Park, 129 Greenwood Drive, at your convenience to see some holiday light displays, including ones design...ed and built by #SouthFayette students at Parkway West CTC. Fairview Fire Department will be driving the big guy around the neighborhood on Saturday Dec 19th at 9 am.

Curbside leaf collection will be held Saturday, Dec. 5 in South Fayette. The night before pickup, place leaves and other yard waste at the curb in biodegradable... paper bags no heavier than 25 pounds each. Yard waste may include: -Leaves -Hedge/tree/garden trimmings -Brush -Lawn edging -Grass clippings
