Today at 5:30 am my father Michael Gray Sr’s battle with cancer came to an end. He passed away peacefully at home with his wife Vivian Bridgewater-Gray at his s...ide. To my brother Michael and I, he was a King our mentor and our father, he taught us how to be men, how to be kind and show love to everyone. He was our rock and guiding light. Watching him over these past 10+ years fighting this disease showed me what true strength was. Right out of surgery he was right back in the garden and surrounded by the arts, that was his place of peace and that peace will be maintained in his memory. My father loved the city of Chester and the people in it, he worked hard to give the city something to be proud of and has left a powerful legacy behind. Though he is gone he will never be forgotten.
