I’m so blessed to know this beautiful woman. Our paths crossed after Liz passed. Stacy Parisella now dedicates her life to helping other women in recovery. I’m so proud of her journey to sobriety. Love you lady!!

There are days when I am shocked at the notoriety of the iCare Foundation across this great country. I was recently contacted by Johnny Archer, a reporter for channel 6 news in South Florida. He came across our foundation and was doing a story on the opioid epidemic during this COVID19 pandemic. He was particularly interested in connecting with a parent whose child was struggling and who perhaps may have lost their battle since March, when the start of this pandemic hit. I im...mediately thought of two mom’s who I knew were going to be strong enough to share their story and I connected Johnny with Janine Grace and Toni Ann Fies. Janine lives in Arizona and I contacted her a few weeks ago after a mutual friend told me of the loss of her son Kaylan in October. Toni lost her son Andrew in May; Andrew and Liz grew up together and Andrew had relocated and continued to live in Florida after rehab. As I know all too well, it’s not an easy story to tell, but one that could save another life or help a family who feels alone. I am so incredibly proud of these two ladies and we will continue to say our child’s name, tell their story and be their voice now. See more
