After years of anticipation, months of COVID delay and weeks of intense study, student Brayden (age 17) passes FAA PP knowledge exam today. PP Checkride in 4-5 weeks. Congrats Brayden

Hello iFly Aviation followers. Sorry for being away so long. Many of you have been texting me for an update about our recent house fire. Sorry for the delay. The past two weeks have been emotional and crazy busy as we attempt to figure everything out. Many of you know that we had a massive house fire that destroyed everything (house and all contents) on May 2nd at 12:45am. All of us were asleep except our oldest son. He woke us all up and called 911 immediatelly. He is a he...ro! Seriously, he is a hero!!! If he wouldn’t have been up late playing video games, my family wouldn’t be here. The roof collapsed onto the second floor where we sleep within a few minutes of exiting the house. The house was on fire nearly 18 hours. The fire department returned 4-5 times to control the fire and hot spots. They eventually brought in excavation equipment and started pulling pieces of the house away from the main house into the front and back yard. Our home site looks like a hurricane hit it. The most important part is we are safe and trying to keep good spirts. We are very blessed. We are currently staying at a local hotel as we work through the year long process to try and get back to a normal life. My sister in-law posted the response below on the Bowser Family House Fire Go Fund site and I could not have said it any better. ‘Thank you’ to each and every person that has reached out to our family this past week. We are amazed, humbled, overwhelmed and so appreciative of all of the donations, messages, texts, calls, cards and kind words we’ve received. Family, friends, neighbors, the Conestoga Valley community, co-workers and complete strangers have truly blessed us. We’ve been so touched by it all and ‘thank you’ seems like such a small word to express our gratitude. We’ve felt the love and it’s been lifting us up. Thank you all. Bowser family
