Spring Cleaning? Clean out some of that old sports gear! Donate your (clean) used baseball and softball equipment to IFPLL. Drop off this Saturday, March 13 from 9am-3pm at Blueberry Hill Park. Your items will be put to use by other IFPLL families (Sale next weekend, March 20, 9am-3pm) or donated to Turn 2 for Youth, giving underprivileged children access to gear so they can play the game.

IFPLL's own Sam Cohn has chosen to support Turn Two For Youth as his Bar Mitzvah project. The organization provides baseball and softball equipment to kids who cannot otherwise afford to play. You can support Sam and Turn Two For Youth at the link below. https://charity.gofundme.com//sam-cohns-bar-mitzvah-project

The 9/10yr old Division Fall Ball came to a close today. We had a fantastic tournament style playoff all day, and let me tell you these kids played hard. So many tight games, so many big hits and plays, so much great pitching....what a day! A huge thank you to our Commish (Mr Tengowski), all of our Coaches and help, and our amazing parents for supporting these great kids all day! With quite a few almost upsets, the 1st and 2nd place teams ended up in an awesome 9-8 final this afternoon. Congrats to all involved and thank you again for the best Fall season I’ve seen!

Congratulations to the Ingomar 10U Black tournament team for their first place finish in the Fox Chapel Fright Fest tournament this weekend. The team also had 5 finishers in the skills competition, sweeping the home run derby. What a great way to close out the season!

IFPLL Season Update - Games will resume on Friday With the latest order released yesterday afternoon, the townships have agreed to let IFPLL resume games beginning Friday, July 10. Each field will have to adhere to a maximum of 50 people. As such, please adhere to the following guidelines below. During each game, each field will be limited to players, coaches and 1 spectator per player... Spectators/players/coaches should still follow all social distancing protocols required by the state/county If you are unable to maintain a 6ft separation (applies to all players/coaches/spectators), proper PPE will be required. If you have any questions/concerns, please let me know. Regards, Mark

IFPLL Return to play 2020 Update: IFPLL Families, After discussions with our townships regarding safety plans, protocols, etc., we have been giving the go-ahead to return to play on June 15, 2020. Attached are the on-field guidelines we will be adhering to. In addition, the following guidelines will also be put in place at our various fields/facilities.... Only players and coaches will be allowed in the areas from the beginning of each dugout to the backstops. Signage will be in place outlining these locations at the fields. (Note: We will require additional parent help for our 4-5 league so there will be some exceptions on parent involvement in this division - Your commissioner/coaches will outline this protocol in further detail). Parents and spectators will be allowed to sit on both baselines (outside the fencing) or in the outfield. It is strongly recommended to bring your own chairs and not utilize any bleachers at the facilities. No parents or spectators will be permitted behind the backstops. Each game will not start a new inning after 90 minutes. Maximum game time will be 1 hour 45 minutes. Teams must leave the facility immediately following their game to allow for the next set of teams to arrive/warm-up prior to their game while minimizing additional participants in the facility. There will be no sharing of equipment (Helmets, gloves, bats, catching equipment). Where applicable each team will be supplied with up to 3 catchers masks. These will not be shared during games which means only 3 catchers will be available for each team unless other children have their own catchers equipment Batting gloves are recommended for all participants Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes/spray bottles will be available at each field to start the season. We will ask parents to volunteer additional hand sanitizer as needed Bathrooms will be cleaned/disinfected nightly or the morning prior to games At this time, there will be no concessions at either Vestal or Blueberry for the Spring/Summer season No gum or seeds are permitted at any field this year Social distancing is strongly recommended for all patrons at the facilities. We realize that many families in our organization have been affected by this health crisis over the past few months so myself and the IFPLL Board will continue to be here to address your concerns prior to and during the season. Execution of these protocols/policies will be key to a safe season for all so please reach out if you feel execution is lacking in any of these areas.
