Hunger in the Dominican Republic and Costa Rica is a significant and growing problem. Soup kitchens and food pantries cannot be found in these countries as they are here. And now that children are attending school by watching television in both countries, families are often responsible for providing lunch for their children as well. For those who were not able to donate the first time but are still looking toward their holiday and end of year donations, we would love more sponsorships to spread Christmas joy and feed families who can use some support now more than ever.
