This week we are supporting Melarbit Partners with Transaction to Transformation, a three-part conversation series for and about local change makers and community-builders. Tomorrow’s conversation focuses on restaurant owners. We’ll learn about how these individuals have operated in partnership with their communities to meet their business and social impact goals. @kaymurrellart will provide her insights and live graphic recording. ******** ***************************** #visualpractice #illustration #leadership #creativity #graphicrecording #change #mindset #transactiontotransformation #collaboration #nj #pa #philly #phillyartists #femaleillustrators #wbe #melarbit

A helpful framework from #theoryu for understanding transformation as it relates to TIME. Having a sense of time OVER time, helps us understand patterns and trends. Having a sense of time IN time, gives us an understanding of the moment we are living in but allowing us to see elements in relation to each other now. Having a sense of time in the RIGHT time is available to us through resting in the moment; when the players and elements come together inexplicably, under just the right circumstances. With practice, we can sense into this right time and distinguish it from the others. Staying connected to the wisdom that lives in our bodies helps... ****************************** #theoryu #time #wisdom #future #hope #visualpractice #scribing #leadership #mindfulness

Here are some highlights from the staging, facilitation and graphic recording at the state of Pennsylvania’s virtual conference for early childhood program administrators. We designed the virtual template in MURAL and did live graphic recording of a keynote speech on building inner strength and resilience by @elena_aguilar_writer . Haley also trained 22 other individuals (facilitators, graphic facilitators, and PA Key volunteers) on how to navigate and facilitate in MURAL. (T...his first image is Room #4, facilitated by Jolie Phillips. Great job, Jolie! ) Those individuals captured highlights 22 breakout discussions, shown along the bottom half of the mural! Many, many thanks to the team of fellow GF’s from #IFVP and beyond. And a very big thanks to @creative.clarity.haley for pulling it all together with style and grace. Our facilitators included: Susana Guardado, Leah Silverman, @thatgirlshines, @im_a_business_que @rubydst @eg1088a @saree_notsaree @jkreienbrink, Kristie Herman, Grace McCabe #earlychildhood #pennsylvania #engagingmeetings #virtualfacilitation #mural #graphicrecording #creativesolutions #creativitywins #stayingconnected #resilience #selfcare

Check out these reflection worksheets created by @chrissie_bonner and the team at @jeffersonhumanities to further support the care and warmth of the artistic residency of percussionist @joshrobinsondrums , while patients at @jeffersonhealth are not able to have visitors. The cover note reads: Greetings, We are thinking of you and wanted to send along this creative care package. We hope the prompts on the enclosed pages might resonate with you and help create space for refl...ection and brighten your day. Respond: Respond to the prompts in whatever way feels good for you. You can draw, write words, describe an image, or fill the space abstractly. The pages are all yours! There is no right or wrong here, just opportunity for expression, creativity and reflection. Share: Post a completed page on your wall. Keep it by your bed to inspire a smile or start a conversation with a member of your care team. Snap a photo and send it to your family or your friends! Listen: We’re pleased to offer the Soothing Sounds YouTube series of music videos by our Artist-in-Residence, percussionist Josh Robinson. If you want to tune into some relaxing music while you respond to the prompts, or for a break at any time during the day, go to tiny.cc/jeffersonhumanities to listen.
