We would like explain how this auction will work . It is different than any other auction. Each item will have a pre determined "bid" attached to it. Example - this item is up for bid for 2 quarters, all those that wish to "bid" will give their 2 quarters, after all wishing to bid have done so, the bid numbers will be placed into a container and one number will be pulled. The owner of that number will win said item for 2 quarters. That is why you may purchase additional bid n...umbers to improve your odds of winning an item. It is all just the luck of the draw. We hope that this clears any questions you may have. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to post and we will answer promptly. Please join the Independent Order of Odd Fellows on Friday, November 14th for an awesome and unique auction. We are holding a quarter auction at the Chester County Technical College. We have many wonderful items. The doors will open at 6:30pm to preview the items up for auction. The auction will begin at 7:00 pm. The Chester County Technical College culinary department will be offering a great selection of food for purchase. ALL money raised in the auction will STAY in the Downingtown community!! Please mark your calendar for a great night..... Please check in often as we will be posting some of the items that will be up for auction.
