OUTAGE UPDATE FROM OUR FIBER PROVIDER: The repair crew inspected the cable and advises there is enough cable to place into the splicing truck to butt splice. The crews are pulling and prepping now and estimated splicing efforts will begin at 6:30pm

THE CURRENT OUTAGE WAS CAUSED BY A VEHICULAR ACCIDENT. AS OF NOW, WE DON'T HAVE AN ESTIMATED TIME OF THIS BEING FIXED, BUT THEY ARE AWARE AND ARE WORKING ON THE PROBLEM. UPDATES TO US FROM OUR UPSTREAM FIBER PROVIDER ARE NOTED BELOW. 07/14/2020 20:37:06 GMT - The OSPE is advising the fault has been isolated due to vehicular accident. A utility pole was struck by a truck. Splicer and repair crews are onsite awaiting the local utility company to clear the power and grant access..... 07/14/2020 20:15:16 GMT - The Transport NOC is advising the tests are complete and results indicate the fault is approximately 15.13 miles from Warminster, PA. The Outside Plant Engineer (OSPE) has been engaged and has dispatched the Outside Plant Team to locate the damage. 07/14/2020 19:31:40 GMT - Field Operations arrived onsite in Warminster, PA and is currently performing light level tests. 07/14/2020 18:40:43 GMT - The Transport NOC reported a suspected fiber issue is causing the service interruption. Field Operations have been engaged to assist with further isolation and they are proceeding to a testing facility to take light level measurements with an ETA of 19:10 GMT.

We are currently experiencing an outage with our upstream fiber provider. Their technicians are currently working on the issue and hope to have it resolved as soon as possible. We will keep you updated as we receive updates from our fiber provider.
